Enough,.... 4-8X?: Enough to remove intake. So, if you hypothetically are lost in the desert and have no water you will lose only 10 oz of urine output (obligatory loss), no more. Otherwise, if you drink more you need to lose more unless you are losing somewhere else e.g. Vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, colostomy, ileostomy , etc. All intake should equal all output.
