A member asked:

Could crohn's disease affect muscle growth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Indirectly: Crohn's does not directly affect the muscles. However patients with active crohn's disease do not absorb nutrients in their intestine well. This can lead to weight loss, malnutrition, and eventual loss of lean muscle mass.
