how long should i be stretching my muscles for best flexibility results?

Stretching: You should always stretch muscles after they've been warmed up for better and safer results. The longer and more often you stretch the better the results. In general, it's reasonable to hold a stretch for 15- 20 seconds . But if you are trying to improve flexibility, then you hold the stretch longer.
