No: It is natural that you want to spend time with your child. The transition to adulthood is difficult for all teenagers. They are insecure and unsure of themselves and are being pushed to make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. Advice is not usually well received unless they ask. Just let them know that you are available for them and let them grow up.
