Yes: If your wife has recovered, then share your love to your hearts' content. If she is acutely ill and on antibiotic / antitoxin treatment, whatever comforts her is fine as long as she is well enough to enjoy it -- I am going to assume you have been immunized against diphtheria. Diphtheria is preventable by immunizing the community and in a better world than ours, this would be universal.
