Calcification: Clacification of aorta in an 80 year old is an age appropriate calcific degeneration. Some times it could cause stroke. But there is nothing much we could do to prevent it. It is a kind of aging process of aorta.

Most people over 80: Have some degree of "hardening" of the arteries! her pcp can help determine whether or not hers might be dangerous.
