No: While i'm not sure about the medical relevance, the number of single person automobile fatalities were less in 2009 and 2010 according to the fatality analysis reporting system of the national highway traffic safety administration (nhtsa == www.Nhtsa.Gov). Statistics for 2011 and 2012 were not listed there. As to the reason why or the key factors involved, not sure but an nhtsa staff may know.
