Yes,: Especially if it is intermittent and does not cause complete obstruction. Symptoms also vary by location.

Yes: Intussusceptions occur all the time and resolve spontaneously. It occurs commonly in babies under 1 year of age. Rarely is there a cause. In older patients, when it occurs and does not resolve on its own, there is usually a cause and will need operative intervention.
