Sugar: Many women crave sweets in pregnancy and have perfectly healthy babies. Does your urine show any glucose? Typically, screening will be done at 28 weeks to see if you have developed gestational diabetes. If your urine shows glucose or the baby is above average size, your doctor might want to test you early.
