Depends: Extremity aneurysms are treated based on size, location, or symptoms. Greater than 2cm are usually treated, and the best treatment is surgical resection. Symptoms can include pressure, embolization, or thrombosis. Rupture rarely occurs. Medical therapy includes smoking cessation. Sorry, but that's the way it is.
