Monovision: People who cannot use both eyes together typically have limited or no depth perception. This can only be corrected if the eyes are made to work together by age 4. It cannot be fixed in adults.

Alternating strabism: this is termed alternating strabismus, a condition that dates from childhood. Because in this condition you see only out of one eye at a time, you cannot appreciate true depth such as you might find in a3-D movie like Avatar.

Monovision?: Monovision doesn't have the level of depth perception if all in the same way as both eyes viewing together.
