A member asked:

Can you tell me how much time does it take an ear infection to form into a brain abscess?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Brain abscess: First off ear infections rarely go onto develop a brain abscess. To develop a brain abscess it is usually due to a chronic infection that has been brewing for some time. Acute or rapidly occurring brain abscesses are very uncommon after an ear infection.
