Follow Up Needed: In some patients, having a nerve "un-pinched" or decompressed during surgery can be the equivalent of having an extremity "go to sleep" and then become painful and tingly when the extremity "wakes up". In other words, the nerve could be regenerating itself. You should still follow up with your surgeon to rule out a new pinched nerve or failed operation. Any more questions? Just ask. Deuk spine.
