Interesting: There are several recent big studies in which rapamycin / sirolimus has been used in advanced cancer after other treatments have failed, usually in combination with a second agent. It's interesting stuff, the results are very encouraging, and it's also obviously not a miracle cure as has been hyped in the media. If you or someone you love might want to join such a study, ask your doctor.
