Feet do not shrink when people age, they get larger due to bunions, arthritic changes, and flatting of the arches. Height decreases as the discs in the spine dry and degenerate. This starts in the 30s but is not really much noticable until the 50s and later in both men and women. Osteoporsis also decreases height, happens in men and women, ealier in women because menopause excelerates the process.
