A member asked:

One of friend(female) is short in height. strict 5 feet, age 17+. is there any possibility to grow longer? if possbile, what's the procedure?

Tough call: You need to know if she is much shorter than her mother and any sisters. If she is she needs to see a pediatric endocrinologist who will determine if she can still grow taller and if she has growth hormone deficiency. This may be correctable but she should not wait too long to be seen.
