Weirdness: Schizotypal personality disorder typically features a preoccupation with magical thinking and so-called odd beliefs. Many of these beliefs are shared by a large percentage of the general public but in this case the key is the intensity and pervasiveness of the beliefs as well as the extent that they interfere with successful social interaction. It is in a continuum with schizophrenia.

Schizotypal: Extremely eccentric thought patterns that border on psychotic/bizarre, unkempt appearance, odd clothing choices, extreme discomfort with relationships, and superstitious. Anxiety and depression that arise from this disorder are about the only aspects that can be treated, speaking very generally.
