See your MD: "passing" a gallstone may have consequences such as developing acute pancreatitis, a painful, sometimes serious and occasional fatal inflammation of the pancreas. Many times, the gallbladder has multiple stones, so that even if one were to pass, others may reside or hide. In general, after one attack of gallstones, the recommendation is to have the gallbladder removed. See your md for testing.
