Tried l-thianine (200 mg) instead of 5 mg valium for sleep when anxious. much better and no drowsiness next day. is l- thianine addictive like valium?

Go L-Theanine!: There is not much clinical data on how well l-theanine works for sleep or anxiety. However, it is considered quite safe (as taken in tea, for example; mage-doses have not been studied). If l-theanine is working better for you than valium, i would definitely switch given the side effects and possible dependency issues with valium.
