A member asked:

Can you have diastolic heart failure with low blood pressure? is bp getting lower a sign of progression of the hf?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You can: You can have diastolic heart failure with any blood pressure. Lower BP (or higher) is not an indication that the hf is worse (or better). In other words, BP is not a marker for the severity of hf.
