Reasonable to take: Diastolic HF refers to stiffness in the heart muscle where the heart muscle doesn't relax fully after each contraction. Losartan is in a class of medications that helps the heart function better - independent of its effect on blood pressure. The consensus is not universal but overall is considered the right thing to do. Unless you are very sensitive, this dose shouldn't affect your pressure.
