Explanation: : The lletz is a procedure to remove a portion of the cervix, intended to do 2 things: diagnose ; treat cin3 (which is precancerous changes of te cervix). The goal is to remove all (if possible) the precancerous changes of the cervix but also the part of te cervix that's removed is sent to the pathologists to check and see if there was/is any actual cancer developing in the cervix.
