No: There are always reasons why people have suicidal thoughts, they are just not aware of them. As a teenager it is hard to process emotions and if there are suicidal thoughts coming without any reasons, you should see a therapist to help you to find out the reasons.

Yes, and...: Being 13, in my experience, brings with it challenges as your body is rapidly maturing toward adulthood and your peers are often very competitive and putting pressure on each other to do adult things. Suicidal thoughts can emerge fairly often in response to these challenges. Recommend talking with a trusted adult and to a professional if these thoughts are persistent. Cheri huber books also good.
