My presciption progesterone 200mg says to take at night is the reasoning only because it says it can cause drowsiness?

Probably: Micronized Progesterone can cause more drowsiness than other forms of Progesterone and is often recommended to take at night for that reason. There are very few drug interactions, but separating timing from taking other drugs wold be another reason.
