Hypersomnia : The range varies. At your age i would select long-acting methylphenidate 54 mg as day. The brand is Concerta 54 mg every morning. Your current dose is fine as a starting dose to see how you tolerate it, but hypersomnia generally requires 54 mg and sometimes even more. Best wishes. Call your doctor and see if he will let you escalate more rapidly. Hypersomnia is simply no fun.
