A member asked:

Lower right back pain, causing slight twinge of pain in leg as well what could it be, treaments?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nerve irritation: The back pain is likely the result of musculoskeletal strain and should improve with exercises (physical therapy) heat, massage. The twinge of pain going into the leg may be the result of some nerve root irritation either from stretch injury or compression from a bulging disc. However, this last is unlikely in a young person in the absence of injury.
