This too will pass: If a kid ingests a foreign object and it makes it into the stomach without problems, most will pass quietly in the stool in 3-4 days. Button batteries are the dangerous exception and should be removed asap. Objects with rough edges can pass easier if you feed the kid stewed okra which encases the object in a mass.A smooth walled marble will pass easily.
