No: My advise is to ingest a lot of fiber. That will be the best thing to add bulk in your intestines. As your stool becomes bulkier you will get a gentle urge to have a bm. Do not hesitate at that time to answer the call of nature. I have found that the best fiber and cost effective and nutritious is cheerios every morning with fruit. Do that each am x7 days. I u r not regular then see your m.D/D.O.

Word games: I'm afraid our attempts to communicate with patients are often misunderstood. I would call"very quiet bowel sounds" an observation, not a diagnosis.Perhaps, with the ducolax, s/he assumed you were constipated. Bowel sounds can be active or quiet at different times in the same patient over a period of minutes or hours. By itself, it has no specific meaning.
