It can: Meditation can certainly help lower blood pressure for some people. It doesn;t work for everyone.

It may help!: Mindfulness-based stress reduction (mbsr) is an 8 week program that trains people to practice meditation and yoga postures in their daily lives. Groups are becoming more and more available, and patients have had improvements in blood pressure, angina, chronic pain, anxiety, and many other conditions.
