ADHD: If it's truly adhd (which needs thorough evaluation first) then the most effective meds are general stimulants like ritalin, adderall, vyvanse, (lisdexamfetamine) etc. See a psychiatrist skilled in evaluating these conditions and effectively prescribing and managing these meds.

Stimulants first: There are always a group of medications that work better for some individuals than others. That said. Start with the stimulant class Adderall Ritalin etc and then move to nonstimulants.
