It depends: Some cancers are mericful, and some are very painful. Brain tumors cause very fast alzheimers-like symptoms. Prostate cancer can go on for years, though, breaking one bone after another. That is why it is important to treat prostate cancer. Not to save your life, but to avoid the pain.
