A member asked:

I am wondering what caused infant aggressive behavior after hospitalization?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stress ; hospitals: It can be very stressful for infants and children to be in a hospital setting. All the blood draws, and unfamiliar faces and setting can cause them to be in a protective mode. This could lead them to be aggressive. Comforting them and talking to hem calmly alleviates their fear and will gradually return to normalcy.
