No surgery : Cosmetic surgery is not indicated to improve uneven skin tone, regardless of your skin type. If you're fair and you have an uneven skin tone due to excessive brown pigment then the treatment is topical therapy with appropriate medical grade products, chemical peels, or laser treatment, under supervision of a cosmetic physician or cosmetic dermatologist.
