Maybe you can't: If you have said you are sorry, offered what explanation you can, and done or offered to do whatever is required to make it right, and you are still unforgiven, then move on. Cherish the good memories of what is now a failed relationship. This will be a sign of your own mental health. Eventually you may realize the wisdom of the classic advice -- "don't make his problem your problem.".
