It must be an effect: of nicotine, and not a good one! Perhaps the tiny blood vessel constriction one gets from a cigarette is compromising blood flow or just the simple stimulant effect of nicotine. I would interpret this as having an unusual sensitivity to nicotine and an indicator to not smoke at all...that she may be more sensitive than the average. I would not be reassured even if a check-up showed nothing amiss.
