Often ADHD: Medications are used for school or work situations and may not always be used on weekends unless the symptoms interfere with doing weekend activities (like homework assignments!) consult with the prescribing physician to decide. Cognitive behavioral therapy is also helpful.

Find out the problem: If you did not have ADHD as a child and did not have a brain injury or infection, it is unlikely you have ADHD. You should consult your doctor to determine if you have a disorder that mimics symptoms of ADHD. Then a psychological evaluation. Proper diagnosis first, treatment second. Good luck.
