It depends: That is hard to answer. It depends on exactly how you are defining the word "cancer, " and how much of a difference you require between two "cancers" to say that are different. One answer would be 4: carcinomas, sarcomas, leukemia/lymphomas, and melanomas. Those are malignant neoplasm of epithelium, mesenchymal tissue, hematopoietic tissue and melanocytes respectively. Each can occur all over.
