Yes: The most common type of breast cancer is invasive ductal cancer. Less commonly lobular. Rarer are medullary, tubular, etc. However, even within ductal, the cancers may be different in cause and behavior as determined by expressions of estrogen, Progesterone and her-2 neu receptors. More recently, gene sequencing has shown tremendous variations in mutations. Go search for new articles.
