Unknown: To my knowledge there are no peer reviewed studies demonstrating that acupuncture helps improve or control add/adhd.Resources reviewing the data are available on the american academy of pediatrics website.

Acupuncture can: Be used for adhd (auricular). I don't know the degree of effectiveness. I would anticipate that this would be on-going treatment.
