A member asked:

Arm aneurysm: what are the treatments for this?

Dr. Craig Carter answered

Specializes in Thoracic Surgery

Surgery: Depending on location, the best and longest lasting therapy is surgery, with removal of the aneurysm and replacing it with vein or prosthetic. All this depends on the size and location of the aneurysm, since smaller ones can be watched unless they become symptomatic.
