What are treatment options for possible stroke or aneurysm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: Treatment options for strokes include a clot-busting medication (tpa) that can be given with the first 3 hours or so after the stroke. Treatments for aneurysms include filling the aneurysm with a thin metal wire ("coiling") or surgically sealing off the aneurysm ("clipping"). Discuss your symptoms with your doctor. If this is something happening right now, go to an emergency room.
