Post mastectomy: Options for reconstruction vary, include tram flap reconstruction, perforator free flap reconstruction, and other microvascular reconstructive options all utilizing you own tissue to recreate a breast mound. Implants are also an option in conjunction with tissue expansion. You need to consult a board certified plastic surgeon who will work with your oncologic surgeon to optimize your care.
