Depends on variables: The answer is somewhat dependent on the situation.A kid born with respiratory distress can often be treated with good outcome depending on the cause. Premature lung problems are easier to resolve than those from a lung that didn't form from low amniotic fluid. Respiratory problems during fetal sepsis (blood infection) is less predictable than most. Best ask your doc.
