If it happens: Infrequently, it is not an eating disorder. If it happens on a regular basis, it would be cause for concern. Pay attention. If you are avoiding meals to try to lose weight, this is not a good tactic and may lead you on the path to a full blown eating disorder. Nip the problem in the bud ; talk to someone if you are concerned.

Depends: It depends- if it is conscious, intentional, and how often it occurs. Sometimes people are so busy at work they might skip a meal and eat a small snack instead- I wouldn't consider that a disorder. If your are intentionally skipping meals, that needs to be addressed.
