Not at all: Male circumcision is a legitimate surgical procedure for removal of foreskin. Female circumcision is genital mutilation, includes amputation of clitoris ; banned in all civilized countries. Thus male circumcision is ok for religious, medical or even hygienic indications. Female circumcision is a crime.

male circumcision is removal of the foreskin. Female circumcision is an ill defined thing varying from removal of clitoris and? or some parts of the external genitalia and practiced in some primitive societies, mostly in the Middle East. It is brutal and inhumane and is definitely far worse.
