I am having a splenic artery aneurism embolization procedure. where does the catheter go and will it hurt, should i be concerned?

Not really: The catheter is placed from the groin up into the splenic artery, where the embolization will take place. The spleen has multiple blood supplies, so it should not be too uncomfortable. Any procedure has risks, and you should have a long discussion with your doctor about it.
