Yes: Two main ones. Prevention to keep it from coming on as treating it once it is here remains a very difficult problem and the other is early diagnosis, especially before the cognitive defecits arise, so that we can adequately prevent.

Cure: One of the main goals in addition to alleviating the dementia symptoms is to find a cure. Early research with rates has been very exciting in decreasing ti number of amyloid plaques.
