Yes: There is a genetic predisposition to some forms of dementia. However, you can delay the onset of many types of dementia (e.g. Vascular) , and some forms of dementia may be stopped or reversed (e.g. Alcohol abuse). See: http://sgoti.Ws/zqqvdz.
