You may have: Trigeminal neuralgia. Without a physical exam or more of a history, that would be my first thought. This is an irritation of a specific nerve in your face, usually on one side, most often starting in front of your ear somewhere. There are medications and injections that can help, but you will need to see your doc to diagnose. Could also be parotid issues, tmj, or a number of other things.
