Talk to your MD: This may mean that your medication regimen as well as your social/physical activities may need an adjustment. Talk to your psychiatrist to review your medications and adjust accordingly. Also, therapy (cognitive behavioral therapy or interpersonal therapy), exercise, social interaction and activities can also help ease your depression.

First diagnosis: A diagnosis of bipolar requires a careful collection of your history and observing you during a clinical encounter. Rarely happy can be from many, many causes. Please see your doctor and if you're feeling unheard, express that to him/her!
